Madden 19

I haven't played since Madden 25 (2013) but I always play on the all Madden level. so first franchise I do a cloud franchise on the EA servers played the preseason game and did great. Had 2 interceptions returned for Yes and Josh Rosen had a couple touchdowns but when I finish the game there is an error so I go do an offline franchise.

I skip preseason my defense played great Shut down Alex Smith but Sam Bradford thru 5 interceptions with Sam Bradford.but I had a TD pass called back for holding so when I called the same play it was picked of but I still had a chance to winf.

I restarted I had 2 receiver fumbles and a safety after a punt down at a 2 I was down 20something and I also miss field goals even easy ones when they are at an angle because there is no thing showing me the trajectory.

I restarted then Sam Bradford goes for 13-28 then against the Rams am sacked like crazy but I also force 3 interceptions on Jared Goff but Bradford only completes like 4 passes.

I decide to try again in preseason and so far both Bradford and Rosen are struggling but am going to play all 4 but the more I play this game the worse I get.

1. All Madden level is crazy.

I can't do it. The point is to have fun, so I just dial down the challenge level until I succeed!

But so far I have been on some passing droughts lately it is hard to get 20 carries in 7 minute quarters.

2. Madden NFL is a Christmas gift every year to my son.

I heard that Madden 19 refuses to use Kaepernick's name, audibly, although he is a virtual player. This might be our first boycott.

Initially they did though.

But Madden, as we noted last year, takes place in a world where none of that matters, because none of that exists. It's a game that makes you stop for a moment so it can download the very latest roster updates for immersion and realism, but also, for some reason, bleeped out Colin Kaepernick's name on the soundtrack as if it were a curse word. EA Games quickly apologized and uncensored the track, calling it an "unfortunate mistake." Mistake or not, it's a pretty good metaphor for Madden. Here, realism only goes so far.

6. I'm in an online franchise with friends.

We play on all madden level. They are all good and I'm terrible, especially since madden got rid of the formation that I've been using for YEARS! To make myself feel better, i play in a franchise by myself set on pro so that i can just destroy my opponents. It's really therapeutic in getting rid of frustration.

I figured out how to run by pushing the burst after the handoff so I started a new franchise because my running back acts 2.9 YPC which is impressive since I have been holding sprint as soon as I snap the ball and it doesn't work like that. Passing may be too easy except when Rosen is in there who often gets picked by linebackers but still pretty easy but at least there is a challenge which I look for.

Ever since I switched to the 46 defensive scheme the CPU QBs & RBs are terrible but I do have Patrick Peterson, 80 CB, and Budda Baker as my nickel cb with Tre Boston and Antoine Bethea as my SS.
