Saban made a statement about Damien Harris...said it was a sprained ankle, which is not great but better than a knee injury. No word on Ridley and Scarborough. Hopefully, we'll see all them all next week against Kentucky.

It's an old grievance going back to 83'.

Pulling for Arkansas over A&M.

That game should count as an exhibition game, not a win.

BTW - I went to Kent State in the 70s. Nobody there cared about the football team or sports in general.

I don't pretend to know all the details, but playing against the #1 team brings many dollars.
TV, commercials, etc.

He influenced the schedule so that Kent State would reap the benefits of playing Alabama.
And Saban was at Kent State, also, in the '70's, along with his now-wife.
He also coached at Kent State and was a Grad Asst while there.

He played football there. He was an assistant coach there for a time as well. He still has personal connections to the college, which is undoubtedly why the game is on the schedule.
