it's been years since I saw baby loons on the lake - lots of adults, but no chicks.
Loons have seriously declined since I was a kid and to see this many this year is amazing.

(20,255 posts)We got a clock that keeps time, of course, and also, if it's switched on, two calls of the Loon signal every hour struck.
My husband's dad took up wood carvings; he excelled at it as one of his hobbies. He primarily carved water fowl and he gifted us an adult Loon among other productions.
