(4,069 posts)Stand bys include, Vienna Sausage, pickle dog, & pickled eggs (a boneless chicken dinner).
I know a bit about good restaurants but I know shitloads about great ones.

Some bean-counter (probably from New York) figured out that it's more efficient than the labor-intensive method of using wood chips.
Once one joint started doing it they all had to, just to remain competitive.
It's an abomination, even if it does save trees.
