Jets traded Stanton to Indianapolis after acquiring he-who-shall-not-be-named. Stanton was fucked over by NY -- he could have signed for more money with others but was promised the #2 QB slot for signing with the Jets. Then the Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum publicly declared you-know-who the No. 2 quarterback.
The Jets receive a sixth-round pick in the 2012 draft from the Colts, a league source said. They send Stanton and a 2012 seventh-round selection to the Colts -- the pick they acquired in the Tim Tebow trade.
