Seahawks trade DE Frank Clark to Chiefs
Amid rising speculation in the lead up to the NFL draft, the Seahawks have moved on from their star pass rusher.
Seattle traded defensive end Frank Clark to the Kansas City Chiefs, the latter confirmed on their verified social media account Tuesday afternoon. The Seahawks get a 2019 first-round pick, a 2020 second-round selection, and the teams will swap third-round picks in this year's draft, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Seattle will give the 84th pick to Kansas City in exchange for No. 92.
Clark will receive a five-year, $105.5 million deal with $63.5 million guaranteed from the Chiefs, per Schefter. The contract will make him the third highest-paid defensive player in the NFL behind Khalil Mack and Aaron Donald.
"Black Elvis" gets what he wanted all along just not in Seattle.
