NFL unlikely to change review rules, but could crack down on players joining celebrations

The NFL clearly knows what its fans want.

A better mechanism in place to fix egregiously wrong calls? No, no. What really bothers fans is players coming off the sideline for celebrations, right?

The NFL’s priorities can be humorous. While the competition committee is reportedly unlikely to propose any changes to the replay review process, after the highly controversial non-call in the Saints-Rams NFC championship game, it might propose a rule to limit players coming off the sideline for celebrations.

Sure.

No wonder some call it the "No Fun League".

With a huge black eye at the end of last season. It’s good to see they’re addressing the important issues.

Next time the NFL tells everyone there’s no mechanism to fix an obviously blown call, just remember, it’s not because no one ever thought of that scenario, it’s by design.

On both topics!
Having, like many here, watched football on a 12 inch TV with rabbit ears, I understood that human error is part of the game.
But, in the high definition, digital age, it's stupid to hold steady when 10s of millions of people can see 4 angles in slow-mo that a call was missed.
On the celebration thing, lighten up Francis! (Directing that to the rules committee)
