NC State breaks record for fewest points(24) by a ranked team in the shot clock era

NC State managed only 24 points in the 47-24 loss. Yes, 24. There are 10 Division I players who individually average at least 24 points per game. NC State managed 24 points as a team. Yikes.

The team shot 9-of-54 from the field. That’s a program-worst 16.7 percent. On top of that, the Wolfpack were a putrid 2-of-28 on 3-point attempts. That’s a 7.1 percent clip.

NC State’s leading scorer on the afternoon, C.J. Bryce, had just seven points. Braxton Beverly, the team’s starting point guard, was held scoreless on 0-of-12 shooting, including nine misses from deep.

That’s a rough day at the office.

A little weak this year but, "I believe that we will win." The Aztecs are a team that historically wins by means of defense and tends to be weak in the shooting stats. I would enjoy having them play NC State.

...in Div 1 scored more than the whole team on the same day.
My sixth grade team averaged 10 points more than this and we had ZERO guys go to college on a basketball scholarship!
