And on to the divisional round...

Feel free to make your picks known throughout the week.

Saturday
Atlanta at Philly
Tennessee at New England

Sunday
Jacksonville at Pittsburgh
New Orleans at Minnesota

The favored home teams look pretty much like a lock. Then again, I felt that way about all four wild card games this weekend and it didn't work out that way. If I had to pick an upset, I'd go with Atlanta since Carson Wentz is out.

Their defense is no joke.

PITTSBURGH -- The new-look Jacksonville Jaguars just might be for real.

Telvin Smith and Barry Church returned a pair of Ben Roethlisberger's interceptions for touchdowns and Jacksonville stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-9 on Sunday.

Jacksonville (3-2) beat the Steelers for the first time in a decade by relying heavily on the NFL's top-ranked pass defense. The Jaguars picked Roethlisberger off five times in all and sacked him twice. Rookie Leonard Fournette ran for 181 yards and two touchdowns for the Jaguars, who are over .500 after five games for the first time since 2010 and have already matched their victory total from 2016.

I always post too soon Pittsburgh gashing Jacksonville with set up plays.

Would have, could have, should have been.

At this juncture, I like Philadelphia, New England, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota, but I probably just jinxed them.

Baseball can't come fast enough for me. Hell, NASCAR is only a month away, too. Varoom!

We all know when the MLB season rolls around you'll just spend the summer grumbling about the horrible Giants, Brother Buzz!

Hell, there are even rumors that Hunter Pence may ride the bench this year, but he won't be alone. Giants acquired a real third baseman, Evan Longoria, so it looks like Pablo Sandoval will be sitting next to him. That, or they'll send Sandoval up to Sacramento when he is really appreciated.

At age 32 he should have enough in the tank for some solid offensive numbers.

And let's hope Mad Bum stays off his dirt bike this year too!

My father is spinning in his grave.

Nothing pissed him off more than players celebrating BEFORE crossing the goal line, and I'm sure he rejoiced when the Jacksonville player was penalized. When my nephew started playing football, I warned him that he'd be haunted by his grandfather if he did that!
