Other than that maybe Water Polo or Indoor Volleyball. Other than that I don't really care.

I prefer the Winter Olympics.

although the winner of the Decathlon is seen as the World's Greatest Athlete, which is one reason why the Caitlyn aka Bruce Jenner thing was so surprising. A one-time World's Greatest Male Athlete now prefers to be a woman. Hard for those of us who appreciated Jenner's athletic greatness to make that jump.

Also, basketball seems to have faded in importance as an Olympic sport with the NBA players dominating since '92 ('04 excepted.) The Cold War battles between our college players and the Soviets were seen as very important games, lowlighted by our controversial loss to the Ruskies in '72. Everyone in America was very upset about that loss, which was a complete screw job by the Director of FIBA who overruled the refs and gave the Soviets extra time after the game should have been over.

Both Women's - the ratings are through the roof when both perform

Tonight I expect some great ratings for the All-Around in Gymnastics.

PS. I look at the ratings each night and my area seems to love the Summer Games!!
