(10,893 posts)people need to see who think baseball is boring and don't appreciate the strategy in it. There's plenty of strategy, even when determining whether or not to steal home. If the pitcher has a slow enough wind-up, it might be time to pull the trigger.

Jackie Robinson should make the short list for stealing home; he did it nineteen times even though Yogi Berra went to his grave claiming it was only eighteen, "He was out".

(65,076 posts). . .a college player stole home too, and i've never seen someone THAT safe when stealing home. The pitcher and the catcher both were asleep at the switch. Can't find video, but the guy was safe by 5 feet.
