The AL would be east coast teams.
The DH would be the standard.

(12,336 posts)There really aren't too many cities to expand to right now, maybe Charlotte, North Carolina and Buffalo, New York. And the Cubs and Sox cannot be in the same league.

(13,431 posts)It's all speculation at this point but four divisions with four teams each for both leagues seems very likely to happen.
I definitely do not think Montreal will be one of the expansion cities, though. Austin, Charlotte, Las Vegas, Nashville, Portland or San Antonio seem much more likely to me.

If they really want to improve ratings install a salary cap and real revenue sharing.
The DH is a lame and uninventive idea -- perfect for morons. It sucks the life out of baseball. Better they should expand rosters by one or two players who can pinch hit as the situation warrants.
