Pat Burrell selling Scottsdale home for $3.7 million dollars...
Former Phillies and Giants slugger Pat Burrell decided to call it quits from baseball on Monday after chronic foot injuries sidelined him the last few years. With no regular paycheck coming in the near future, Burrell is dumping some of his real estate,including this spectacular Scottsdale home for $3.695 million dollars.

First, I believe I can speak for most Giants fans in saying Pat's contribution to the 2010 Championship will never be forgotten. Check out some of the photos of this place available at the link. Having a place in Scottsdale must have been great for spring training. Yet, if I had Burrell's kind of money, instead of some gated community, I'd pull a Jeff Kent and buy a whole bunch of property out in the country..though preferably not in Texas..
