The Ohio State will be the second Big 10 team to check their ticket into the championship series.

Too funny!!

Does anyone think Clemson will lose to North Carolina?

5. Call it a hunch, but the big 10 isn't going to get 2 teams in.

and I know you hate to hear this, but I'd bet Alabama gets in even if they lose, if the only alternative is Ohio State. It's going to be Clemson (even if they lose), Alabama (even if they lose), Oklahoma, and the winner of the Big 10 Championship.

9. I agree with you about the two big ten teams, but not about Alabama

I think it is very unlikely that two big ten teams get in. I could maybe see it if Clemson, Alabama, and Stanford all lose.

I'd be surprised if Alabama loses, but if they do lose I'd be more surprised if they get in over two conference champions (Stanford and Florida). I know Florida doesn't look good, but the committee does value conference championships, and Florida would have three wins over ranked teams (Alabama, Ole Miss, and Tennessee). It would be hard to put Alabama in over the team that just beat them, when none of their wins would be as impressive as Florida's second best win.

10. Fair enough. A 2 loss Florida team will get in over a 2 loss Alabama team they just beat.

I didn't really think that part through. I was looking at a 2 loss Bama compared to Ohio State, Stanford, a 1 loss Iowa or a 2 loss Michigan State (depending on who wins the big 10).

over the University of Spoiled Children. They'll be a conference champ, not a division runner-up.
