The g.d. champagne corks are about to pop again

I can actually see Carolina running the regular-season table (the 'Aints, Atlanta twice, the NY Pipsqueaks and the Yucs), but all the way to Levi's? As my Scottish grandfather would say, "I hae me doots".

I bet against Cam Newton before - and lost my ass!

The 'Undefeated Season' is the new Holy Grail of sports - now that we got us a Triple Crown winner.

I'll be rootin' for the Panthers now!

And if Carolina does pull it off--- it will be with Mike Shula as Offensive Coordinator.

That being the Cardinals, and I am not sure of all the permutations on that. They may actually clinch that spot with the 14th win.

That leaves two games left. What to do? Go for the record or protect your starters? You have to keep the players engaged, so you probably try and play it strong for three quarters. They will have two weeks off to get ready for the first game of the playoffs at home. Wasn't Belicheat trying to rack up 50 points a game in the season they went 16-0*?
