Big 12 - In the 16 possibilities OK State wins in 9.

Last edited Wed Nov 18, 2015, 01:15 PM - Edit history (2)

I had to figure the scenarios for the 4 teams with a chance to win the conference (I like math problems). There are 16 different possibilities. And assuming that Baylor will beat Texas in their last game, and I haven't made a mistake, these are the ways it could finish:

OSU wins 9 times.
OU wins 4 times.
TCU wins 1 times.
BU wins 1 time.

There could also be a 3 way tie with TCU, BU and OSU. And there could be a 4 way tie with all 4. In that case, the new rules make it very complicated. http://www.big12sports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=1546006

On edit: There cannot be a three-way tie for first. I figured it wrong. But my question is if there is a four way tie (all having 2 loses), what will OU's loss to Texas mean?

2nd edit: I figured another one wrong. TCU has only one possibility to win it.

It's ironic that the team whose revenue sharing deal is preventing them from adding quality talent (and a conference championship) isn't even part of this.
