(10,893 posts)in the NFL. These are all professionals, and they all have difficult schedules (though yes, some being more difficult than others), and certain factors can come into play such as injuries, time zones, the refs, and the weather.

(9,527 posts)But they have been lucky that their division has been so bad for so long. And then Buffalo decided the best way to win was to hire a guy who couldn't win. It astounds me that Rex Ryan got another head coaching job so quickly given that he's just not a good head coach and his teams are regularly undisciplined.

(16,113 posts)You think the Patriots haven't been successful recently? They're just a product of cheating and being from a bad division? They're not a real threat, like, for example <fill in the name of any nfl team you think has been a success rather than a "success">.
You can argue that the patriots cheat, the NFL rigs the games for them, that they fix the coin toss or that belichick has a device that makes opposing players and coaches do unbelievably stupid things against their will, but I don't know how you'd argue that they haven't been successful.
