Red Sox trade Victorino to Angels
BOSTON -- Shane Victorino, a postseason hero for the Red Sox in 2013, was traded to the Angels on Monday along with cash considerations in exchange for infielder Josh Rutledge.
Per a source, the Red Sox will pay $3.8 million of Victorino's remaining balance of $4.9 million.

The outfielder was plagued by injuries the last two seasons, but is currently healthy. The 34-year-old outfielder hit .245 with two doubles, a homer and four RBIs in 33 games in 2015.
