Twice in about a month Giants had a late start (8:00 PM) east coast game on a get-away day with a game scheduled in S.F. immediately after. Then there was that 11:00 AM start in Washington DC on July 4th that followed a night game. With two lineup starters on the DL Bruce Bochy has also been reluctant to give anyone else break. Everyone is dragging, including most the bullpen. That makes the team push too hard which ironically has the opposite effect: they play like shit.
