Down 4-2 in 9th inning, Chihuahuas score three runs to beat Bees, win 4th straight game

It was the most wonderful of scenarios for this thrill ride that has become El Paso Chihuahua baseball.

Another sellout gathering of 9,114 was in place, enjoying baseball on a hot summer Saturday night, ready for post-game fireworks ... and hoping for some in-game fireworks.

They got their wish.

Salt Lake had rallied to take a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the ninth ... one out into the bottom of the ninth with Mike McCoy perched on first. Jason Hagerty, just called up from Double A San Antonio, slashed a pinch hit double down the left field line — putting the tying runs in place on second and third.
