Report: LeBron James repeatedly defied David Blatt during NBA Finals

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/report--lebron-james-repeatedly-defied-david-blatt-during-nba-finals-204950403.html

LeBron James did damn near everything for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 NBA Finals, carrying an injury-plagued roster lacking any viable supplemental shot creators through six games against the deeper, healthier, better Golden State Warriors. It was a virtuoso performance that had many wondering whether he deserved MVP honors even in defeat, which came Tuesday night in Game 6, allowing the Dubs to celebrate their first NBA championship in 40 years on James' home court at Quicken Loans Arena.

In one context, though, James might have been doing way, way too much. ESPN.com's Marc Stein wrote Thursday that, on multiple occasions, he "saw LeBron emasculate (Cavaliers head coach) David Blatt in ways that are simply unbecoming of a player of James' legend-in-the-making stature."...

I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn't like. LeBron huddling frequently with (assistant coach Tyronn) Lue and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt....

How is any fellow Cavalier going to treat Blatt with something resembling reverence when LeBron treats him like a bench ornament in plain view?

Seriously, LeBron, if you want that ring, you're gonna have to suck it up. In the meantime, thank you. Your antics may very well have cost your team Game 1. No way are we coming back from a 3-0 deficit.

my dad was crazy for hating him so much and thinking he's arrogant, but after paying closer attention to him during the Finals, I'm starting to see King James' true colors. There's a saying that a way to determine a person's character is how they react to losing. All he did was act like a sore loser (rushing off the court after each loss) and basically tried to minimize the Warriors' success, claiming his team lost because of "luck".

There is nothing new in this article. I do not want to hate on LeBron James, but he has been doing this since he came into the league. One of the people commenting on the article at the website said James has regressed. That is not true. Early in his career he acted in this same way. Near the beginning of his NBA career he walked off the court before a game was over. There were only a few seconds left in the game, but he should have stayed on the court until the game ended. Also, this is not the first coach he has disrespected one of his coaches. One could ask the question, is there a head coach who has coached him in the NBA that he as not at some point disrespected. He walked into one of his coaches without apologizing and pushed another coach. The only things anyone can say in support of him pushing the coach is that maybe he was trying to keep the coach from getting into trouble with the referee.

I only give slight blame to David Blatt. He should have put LeBron James in his place in front of the team. He should have stood up and said in front of everyone that he was the coach and until he was fired James and the rest of the team was going to listen to him and only him.

However, the real blame goes to the sports media. From the very beginning they have coddled James and covered for him. Every time he did something wrong they made up excuses for him. They may have also downplayed his actions; making them seem as if they were not as bad as they looked.

He hated that he couldn't be in charge

He wanted his My Familia all around him to take the reigns of the team. He has that now and well I guess he got what he wanted. A puppet as a coach
