The Warriors just took down Houston. Here we go!
The key matchup... what's-his-face who used to be on the Heat against... ... our coach, Steve Kerr. You can't stop him, but you can slow him down. And the rest of our team beats the rest of their team. If we can stop him from taking it over, we win this thing in 5!!
Sorry, Cleveland. Maybe next year. And there's always the Browns!

(31,187 posts)Happy both cities made it it to the finals. You can imagine what a championship would mean to Cleveland after a 51 year drought. Though with Oakland on the verge of losing the Warriors AND Raiders AND maybe even the A's it would be a wonderful, final hurrah for that city and the East Bay.
Though not a basketball fan (not since the 1970s with Bill Fitch's Cavs), I will watch this series. But I haven't a clue what to root for. On second thought I do -- how about a nice, clean game?
I might like Cleveland's chances better if Kevin Love hadn't been intentionally mauled by that Celtics' cheap-shot motherfucker douchebag Kelly Olynyk. Put that asshole on the same shit list as Scott Cousins and Warren Sapp, please.

Warren Sapp laid a blind-side hit on the Packers' Chad Clifton, causing a pelvic injury and ending Clifton's 2002 season. Totally unwarranted -- it was after an interception and far away from play on the field.

(78,249 posts)The difference is a) ours played college ball, and b) ours is the MVP. Since he left as a child, he wouldn't have had a chance to meet up with You-Know-Who in high school or street ball. Also, I did not know that his dad played in the NBA. The other Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, 's dad Mychal did, too!
