Sure, everyone's a Major League expert before the 162-game marathon begins, and no prognostication is wrong. At least that's true until all the twists and turns unfold on the road to October, and some predictions begin to unravel.

I like the Nationals' line-up too. My question: does Matt Williams have the skill to take them all the way?

(20,365 posts)MIAMI -- The Braves traded closer Craig Kimbrel and outfielder Melvin Upton Jr. to the Padres on Sunday in exchange for outfielders Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin. A Major League source revealed Atlanta will also acquire two highly-regarded prospects -- right-handed pitcher Matt Wisler and outfielder Jordan Paroubeck -- and the 41st pick in June's Draft.
Maybin and Quentin were targeted to provide immediate value to Atlanta's outfield. The Padres are getting arguably the game's best closer and Upton, who is sidelined until at least mid-May with a left foot ailment.
It was not revealed how much of the $46.3 million Upton is owed over the next few years that the Padres accepted responsibility for.

(78,249 posts)It's an odd-numbered year, so you know the defending World Champions are gonna find a way to blow it.
if AJ, Locke and Worley can hold their own, there's no telling how far the Bucs can go.
