Realtor sues Deion Sanders for $1 million commission on mansion sale
A realtor sued pro football hall-of-famer and former Dallas Cowboy Deion Sanders for allegedly withholding a $1 million plus commission on sale of the sports star's $15 million Texas mansion, Courthouse News Service reports.
The 29,000 square foot home in a north Dallas suburb has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, plus an indoor basketball court with two hoops, and AstroTurf exercise room, a full-sized football field, a media room with stage and 14-foot screen, a two-lane computerized bowling alley, high-top tables and banquette seating, an arcade with wet bar and a barber shop.
According to Courthouse News, Sanders promised realtor Lachandra Lewis a five percent commission on his home sale. Lewis says a buyer offered $21 million for the home, and the sale was close in August 2014. Now she's suing for her $1,050,000 five percent fee.
Sanders is a former NFL and MLB player, who holds a record for scoring an NFL touchdown and MLB home run in the same week, as well as for playing in both a Super Bowl and World Series.
