winning the Superbowl. Final score: Patriots 43 - Seahawks - 27
(On Edit: I am not a Patriots fan. In fact, I hate them, but I am predicting that they will win.)

(10,118 posts)I lived in Calif. back in time, and Raider Fans refinanced their houses to bet against the Bucs.( SB37)
To Quote a movie WAR GAMES ." the only way to win, is not to play".
90% of all bets come from the heart, just look at the neon lights outside the casino's you and
I paid for, The Other 10% are heavy money guys knowing you or someone like you will take the bet.
The only bet I will take is my kitchen timer won't overcook my wings, still a gamble though.

(29,322 posts)On the Seahawks? I don't deny the possibility of NE winning I'll but the house Seattle keeps it under 43.

Maybe I should I go to a museum Sunday or see a movie ...

(35,445 posts)Seriously. The Pats are going to win in a blowout. The game will be over before the start of the 3rd quarter.

(65,159 posts). . .there was no middle ground. It was either going to be nip and tuck to the very end or a beat down that would be over "by the middle of the 3rd quarter." I gave it 7.5 minutes longer than you, i guess.

(49,533 posts)So in other words, over at halftime?
That would, I'm guessing, project to an insurmountable lead of what, maybe 35 points? Largest halftime comeback in NFL history was the Bills-Oilers playoff game - 32 pts.
You really think the Seahawks, who gave up an average of less than 16 points A GAME during the regular season, will be down by 35 (or more) at halftime?
Not saying it couldn't happen but it seems ridiculously unlikely.
