McCarthy was playing not to lose instead of to win. And the first two possessions the Packers had 4th and short and went for fgs instead of touchdowns, Burnett had an interception and just slid instead of running, Jordy Nelson dropped ANOTHER pass, and so on. But mostly I blame McCarthy. He always wants to play conservatively even though he has the best QB in the league. THROW THE DAMN BALL!

He told reporters he should have just blocked and let Jordy Nelson catch the ball. He said that was his job on the play and didn't do it. He looked pretty despondent about it.

Thing is, i wonder if it isn't better for him. He'll likely catch on somewhere else and i think he might have a heck of a time living in that small town after wearing the goat horns.

It's not like a NFL size dude could just blend in in that small city like he could in nearly every other NFL town.

I know he's losing a paycheck and that has to stink. But, i fear his quality of life in Green Bay would have been pretty bad anyway.
