I saw them play all season. Now I'm going to watch how the local news media responds to this. They seem to always have a bias towards the 49ers and Giants in their reporting until the A's and Raiders beat them.

They played as if they've given up and want to finish 7-9.

At the same time it was fun to see Oakland play with such fire, especially after last week.

there's that, and there's also being stuck with a high-pick you can't trade or can afford to sign under the salary cap. I'll take a wild guess and predict the Raiders will be looking for defensive line help with their first pick. You don't need a #1 to get an impact player there.
