Baylor isn't getting screwed by TCU in the CFP but by Ohio State.

Look at this:

Best win for Baylor: No. 3 TCU. Best win for Ohio State: No. 10 Michigan State.

Second-best win for Baylor: No. 9 Oklahoma. Second-best win for Ohio State: No. 34 Minnesota.

Third-best win for Baylor: No. 38 Texas. Third-best win for Ohio State: No. 46 Maryland.

Loss for Baylor: No. 28 West Virginia. Loss for Ohio State: No. 50 Virginia Tech.

Advantage Baylor across the board. Yet somehow, the committee doesn't see that.

If you have an 8 team playoff, you might end up with 3 or 4 SEC teams in a normal year. n/t hughee99 Dec 2014 #6

I think some that there is some bias against having two teams from one state in the playoffs. I also think that having two smaller private schools may be factoring into the thought process. Having it come down to Alabama, Oregon, TCU and Baylor is probably the least favorite scenario for TV ratings as far as the selection committee is concerned.

If either Alabama or Oregon loses it might move Ohio State into the mix, but I think that the selection committee would still keep them seeded in the top four teams before putting Baylor into contention.

And Ken Starr? Well, who do you suppose is the president of Baylor?

And you know why sex is banned at Baylor, right? Because it might lead to dancing!

In short, Baylor is everything that's wrong with this country. I don't care who's screwing them, just as long as they get screwed!

Number 9 really can't complain, but 5 and 6 sure can...this mess was simply "let's get 2 SEC teams into the playoffs" system.

But there is a real possibility of two Big 12 teams. If either Bama or the Ducks lose (Ohio State WILL also lose) and Baylor wins, then the Pooh Bears are in.

But there is such an SEC bias I think they set up this stupid system to try and get two SEC teams in...they had 2 in the final four pretty much the entire time until recently when Miss and Miss State were exposed.
