I was reminded of the Car Talk sign-off after the game, with slight modification:

"Well, you did it again and blew a perfectly good three hours ..."

I could have washed windows.

Car Talk was a wonderful show. The two of them were great.

but the connection kept interrupting so I gave up, CBS & PBS hasn't came in to my TV past couple weeks but I haven't messed with the antenna too much though, I pretty much only watch broadcast TV on Sunday afternoons & nights. I keep forgetting about Thursday night football they rate so much lower than average on the excitement index and things don't look much different this season.

AdvancedNFLAnalytics measures excitement by 'close games', comebacks, and lead changes which TNF had the fewest of on the NFL Network. I think there may be something there that a CBS audience can't fix.
