Historic playoff game ends in Giants 2-1 victory

Time: 6 hours, 23 minutes -- longest MLB playoff game (by time) in history.

Starters Jordan Zimmermann and Tim Hudson pitched great. But the real story was the Giants bullpen -- 10 2/3 innings of shut-out relief.

Brandon Belt had the game winning home run.

I was listening to the KNBR crew anyway. Krukow continues to awe. Best pitching commentator in the game.

Belt's previous at bats were driving me crazy. He can look so lost at times.
