Dolphins' Reshad Jones suspended four games for PED violation

Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones has been suspended four games without pay for violating the NFL's PED policy.

In a statement released through the NFLPA, Jones apologized and blamed the violation on an unnamed supplement.

Jones is a fifth-year player out of Georgia. Last season he recorded 84 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown. In 2012, he tallied four interceptions, nine passes defended and two forced fumbles.

Jones had started every game for the Dolphins in each of the last two seasons. Prior to the 2013 season, the Dolphins signed Jones to a four-year extension.
