Get this: If CFP were in place this year, Auburn and Alabama would play each other again.

The College Football Playoff (CFP) that will take the place of the BCS next year selects and seeds the top four teams for the playoffs. If the committee members ranked this year's teams in the same order as all the major polls have, Then FSU would play Michigan State an Auburn would play Alabama with the winners playing each other for the National Championship.

I see this happening a lot in the future and I don't like it. There should be a "same conference exception" like there used to be in MLB and like in NCAA Basketball where they try to put teams from the same conference in different regional brackets.
