The Alabama Crimson Tide fan base is the dumbest in the country and there isn't a close second....

When news broke that authorities had arrested a man for poisoning the trees at Auburn, millions of Alabama fans secretly thought to themselves, "God, I hope it's not Uncle Ray."

This group of Alabama fans resents those who actually attended the school and calls them, "elitists." (To be an "elitist" in Alabama you have to graduate high school, avoid having kids until you're 22, and shop at Target instead of Wal-Mart. Seriously, that's an Alabama elitist.). Auburn fans, a distinct minority in the state, are really nothing like Alabama fans. That's because by and large Auburn fans are associated in some way with Auburn. 95% of the idiots in Alabama root for the Crimson Tide....

The irony of Nick Saban's Alabama success is that the University of Alabama can't even find enough smart kids to enroll at the school anymore. Over half of Bama's entering freshman class last year came from outside the state. The real reason that Nick Saban's so mad at the student section -- lots of them don't even care that much about Alabama football. Sure, it's fun, but they aren't likely to get a misspelled tattoo on their arm supporting the Crimson Tide like the majority of the fan base is.

1. Interestingly, after living in CT and MD, I have seen that the following teams have just as many

dumb fans as the ones listed here, if not even dumber:

Patriots
NY Giants
NY Jets
Eagles - I am surprised that the criminal organization that calls itself the Eagles Fan Base is not on this list.
Washington *'s
Ravens
Bengals - No one actually admits to being a Bengals fan, so it's not surprising they are not on the list.

3. #7 is a joke.

Not all of us Raider fans are felons who do drugs, pick fights with opposing fans, or wear Halloween costumes to games. And as far as the city of Oakland itself goes, I have lived there for all 23 years of my life, and I still have made it out fine. People just have to be smart about staying out of rough parts of the city at night. Every fan base and every big city has its good and bad parts, and Oakland is no exception.
This list reeks of even more bias than a typical FOX News interview.

4. Clay is right on about the Bama fans.

Its like a religion or cult with these people. I remember a story about an unemployed guy selling his wife's old car so they could go to one of Bama's National Championship games. He blew all his money and wifey's car for the game. They had to eat with relatives for several weeks. He said it was worth it though, because they got to see a championship in person.
