Solo homer enough for Boston to win Game 3 !

Mike Napoli hit a 96-mph fastball off Tiger starter Justin Verlander to give the Red Sox the only run in Game 3 at Comerica Park in Detroit. Sox starter John Lackey pitched six and two-third scoreless innings.

1. So, what happens in game 4? My prediction - Sox offense awakens, they get to Fister - 7-2.

2. I've got to say it's argubly the best non-WS series in years.

Great pitching performances. Edge of the seat close low-scoring games. Every at-bat mattering and none of these games being safely put away before the final out.

Okay sure, dominant pitching duels aren't as much fun to watch as homerpalooza but it's still a nail-biter series between two very good teams. The only problem is that the WS might be like that Cardinals/Sox WS after the iconic Sox/Yanks series in 2004; I think everybody knew that the two far-and-away best teams had just gone 7 games in the ALCS.

3. This is why I love baseball. You are on the edge of your seat pitch by pitch exacerbated
