Colin Kaepernick leads NFL in jersey sales --

I could've sworn Tebow led this list ... ha ha

Colin Kaepernick leads NFL in jersey sales
Posted by Carrie Boarman on October 7, 2013

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick’s No. 7 jersey remains the NFL shops top-selling jersey for the period spanning from April 1 through Sept. 30. Peyton Manning’s No. 18 holds the number two spot.

Eight of the ten top selling jerseys below to QB’s, with only Adrian Peterson and JJ Watt being the only position players outside of quarterback to crack the list.

He certainly has the highest jersey sale-to-completion ratio in the league KamaAina Oct 2013 #1

I'm sure Vick's lost a bit of speed with age, but he's clearly a better passer now. nomorenomore08 Oct 2013 #11

with a grand total of six completions Sunday night -- none in the second or third quarter!

Then again, St. Timmeh sold lots of jerseys with even worse numbers.

49ers ran the ball roughly 70% of the time in that game and Houston has a top 5 pass defense.

remember the numbers Michael Vick was putting up the first year or two?

Meanwhile, Alex Smith's Chiefs are undefeated.

Boldin is the only wideout worth shit on the roster. When Crabtree and Manningham come back the passing numbers will improve.

in the meantime, he is a promising young QB who has had some great games and some, er, not-so-great ones. *cough*first half of SB*cough*. Yet he is selling more jerseys than Manning. (Payless, I mean. Who'd want to be seen in public with an Eli Manning jersey at tyhis point?)

when and if the passing game continues to look poor once they get Crabtree and Manningham back. The 49ers are woefully short at the WR position, Boldin is the only one who can make plays...and none of them are good at creating seperation. Even Vernon Davis at TE is by his own admission playing at only 75-80%..

Btw, Alex has a QBR of 83.7, Kap 81.9. The Chiefs are winning with defense..

Kaepernick is still playing very well.

On edit - Actually Vick's numbers in Philadelphia are far better than the numbers at Atlanta except for rushing yards.

Though I'm sure having the likes of DeSean Jackson to throw to helps.
