something like that was inevitable.

My main worries - Farrell's decisions:

to pitch to Longoria (hasn't he been getting big hits for years - and they NEVER walk him!)
why not have someone steal 3rd base?
Why let Drew hit a power throwing left hander (Bogaerts was wasted)
Why not start the inning with Workman instead of (argggh) Morales?

He's gotta be sharper than that tonight.

Still feeling great about it - we can't win em all (no team does!)

You hate everything that is good and decent, like the Red Sox!!!

I also think Oakland in five...can't see Detroit losing 2 at home.

Last year? World Series? Giants sweep?

If they weren't playing the Athletics I'd be for Detroit all the way.

Last year they had the seventh best record in the AL...they were over-rated and SF was playing great at the right time.

if Red Sox coworker didn't insult my Nats all the time calling them scrubs and insulting my boy Jayson Werth (whom I sort of met this year, woohoo!) I wouldn't hate them as much. Having to listen to Red Sox this n that every day is tiresome..

Double the Red Sox payroll, and the Red Sox have a pretty big one, too.
