Just about from the moment I learned Floyd Mayweather was fighting Canelo Alvarez I thought Mayweather would easily win the match. Even though Mayweather seems not to need the money, for some time I have felt this was just a money fight for Mayweather; he just wanted some extra money.

I saw the Alvarez-Austen Trout fight and I was not impressed with either Alvarez or Trout. I was one of the people who thought even though neither man fought very well and Trout was knocked down, Trout actually won the fight. As a result, I did not believe the hype about Canelo Alvarez and thought he would lose the match. It is possible the hype about Alvarez was only coming from the Alvarez camp.
