Sure, I get that hometown fans vote for "their guys", but any fan that votes for the best person at that position should be voting for Cabrera.

Johnny come lately... you're to fucking funny. Its not even the all star break and you're acting like the Pirates will win the WS.

Nope they will choke like they always do... I just like to see underdog teams who usually choke do well.

And is it a crime to like the Pirates when wille played?

I cried my ass off when Roberto Clemente died. I cried even more when I learned the next day he had died trying to supply food to a country that had just suffered through a massive earthquake.

An Orioles fan? alrighty. I loved those two WS victories in the 71 & 79.

If the Bucco's finish over 500 I will be happy. I would love to see the Bucco's win it all just for my Dad, who has been a fan through the rough years of the 40's and 50's.

near my in-laws. Seen them a couple of times there and also a few times in Camden Yards. Nice stadium, without a bizarre fish thingie!
