Fortunately for that ref, it didn't pay in the end. Had Seabrook not scored in OT, they would've had to smuggle him out of the city. The officiating in this series was atrocious.

The Hawks still pulled it out in OT.

But those weren't the only bench-area shenanigans in the game:

Don Cherry had a lot to say about that one during the first intermission. Grapes said that Filppula has been amazingly productive in Game 7 situations (6 points in 5 games); losing him was potentially game changing, just like the scoring opportunity nullified by coincidental minors set off by Quincey's thuggery.

Still - great game, great series comeback by Chicago!
