Former Oregon commit Dontre Wilson flips to Ohio State

Famous for his ability to flip recruits right up until National Signing Day, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer landed a commit he had been trying to sway for months just two days before college football's biggest offseason event.

Desoto (Texas) running back Dontre Wilson committed to Oregon in May and initially maintained his commitment even after Chip Kelly left to coach the Philadelphia Eagles. That was until Meyer got to him.

Wilson announced Monday on local television that he will sign with Ohio State, the third surprise announcement of an eventful Monday night. Five-star linebacker Reuben Foster, a former Auburn commit, announced his intentions to attend Alabama and running back Alex Collins (South Plantation, Fla.) shocked the audience by committing to Arkansas.
