Will the Chargers "Norv the table"?

At this time of year, blather from the NFL commentariat usually involves which teams might "run the table", winning all their remaining games in a playoff/seeding push. It's also time for certain out-of-it teams to get hot in order to play spoiler or create false hope for the future among their fans. In the case of the San Diego SuperChargers, it's time to quell the annual hopes that the inept Norv Turner will finally...FINALLY get the axe by going on a ridiculous late season winning streak thereby saving his job.
Whenever a team wins one meaningless December game after another to end the season, can they be "Norving the table"? I think the term belongs in the sports vernacular.

If Philadelphia defeats Cincinnati, San Diego defeats Carolina, Dallas defeats Pittsburgh, and Tennessee defeats NYJ in week 15

In week 16, San Diego defeats NYJ, Pittsburgh ties or defeats Cincinnati.

In week 17, San Diego defeats Oakland, Pittsburgh loses to Cleveland, and Cincinnati loses to Baltimore, NYJ winning or losing doesn't matter since SD owns the tiebreaker - San Diego would make the playoffs. They would also need a loss from Cleveland, Buffalo, and Miami to avoid potential tiebreakers w/ them under this scenario.
