(29,322 posts)thread was the first time I've seen in awhiiiile. I figure from early February to late August is your off-season.
Yeah, a lot less posters these days. Nice to see onceuponalife recently, the other Giants basher I'd like to see again is inthebrain. Of course Fork but I'm still in-touch with him.

JonLP24
(29,322 posts)Interesting he was the one that replaced Wanstedt at Pitt, gave them a 6-6 team and jumped ship. Interesting, he calls the Sun Devils job his dream job and the East Valley is a place he claims he always wanted to retire. He certainly talks a good game, I hope it translates onto the field.
RichRod is down south, interesting both UofA and ASU and spread orientated rushing offenses. Currently Taylor Kelly is the starting QB but Michael Eubanks is expected to play. Eubanks fits Graham's offense better because he has speed but Kelly is a better passer. There is talk that once Eubanks becomes a more polished passer, he'll eventually be the starter. Eubanks is a Redshirt Freshman, Kelly is a Sophmore who was Osweiler's backup last season.
With that, they appear to be a shaky team. They have a LB -- Brandon Magee-- who is a pre-season AA favorite but besides him they are very thin on D.
They have a couple quality receivers, it'll be interesting to see how their inexperienced QBs play but they have enough talent to have a winning season. What hurt recent Sun Devil teams was poor coaching decisions down the stretch and an undisciplined defense.

(9,002 posts)We stunned Pitt with 3 TD's in the 4th to beat them. One of our only memorable games. Good luck to you and the Sun Devils.

(9,002 posts)Good job!
We have been getting pretty good coverage of college football down here since last season. I found the college games more enjoyable than the pro games. I love watching mobile quarterbacks still athletic enough to run the ball without having to worry about several 300 pound defensive linemen wanting to tear their heads off.
I picked Boise State as my team - just love the blue grass they play on.
Thanks for running the comp, I know how much effort running one can be. Good luck all.
