Honestly?!? Look there are too many inane sports in the Olympics now. Why do we need to pile on more??

With "race" events you have so many distances, individual vs. relays, etc. to generate medal-winning opportunities. And yes, some pretty marginal sports and variations.
Would the NBA stars then have to choose between being on the 5 on 5 or the "Gus Macker" team? or could they do both?

I would rather see a Basketball section in the Sports, here at DU.
How can we request that or a better break down of sports in the section?
