Adrian Peterson will have his initial court appearance on Friday in Houston after he was arrested in the wee hours Saturday morning and charged with resisting arrest.

An off-duty police officer, working security at a club, accused Peterson of shoving him and causing him to lose his balance after he asked Peterson and friends to leave following closing time. Then, police say it took three officers to subdue the Minnesota Vikings running back.

Strangely enough, I know someone who was at the bar that evening. He believes it was racial profiling as they had just announced last call.

1. If you're charged with resisting arrest, doesn't there have to be another charge

as well, that cause them to attempt to arrest you in the first place (before you resisted)?
