Parise & Suter have both agreed to terms on 13-year, $98 million contracts with the Minnesota Wild.

The deals carry an average annual salary of just over $7.5 million.

Missing the majority of the 2010-2011 season due to injury, Parise returned last season with 31 goals and 38 assists in 82 games for the New Jersey Devils. He would add eight goals and seven assists in 24 playoff games to help lead the team to the Stanley Cup Final.

Parise told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun via text message that had he not decided to go home to play in Minnesota, he would have stayed with the Devils. For Suter, the choices came down to staying with Nashville or moving to Detroit or Minnesota.

They should be a playoff team in the coming years.

Suter should especially help them out defensively. He played for the #1 PK team in the league.
