(38,476 posts)Do we have a life sentence of this guy making the team?
Upton
(9,709 posts)David Wright was voted unto the All Star team when Pablo had the superior stats. 2012 is just the opposite. Therefore it's justice for 2009..
Kingofalldems
(38,476 posts)who was having a much better year, and you claimed it was payback for some other year. Does this ever end?

(31,188 posts)Wright will play the more important final six.
El Supremo
(20,365 posts)Actually Panda just wants to chow down on that great Kansas City Bar-B-Que. He couldn't care less about playing.

(31,188 posts)at third in the late innings. It's a defensive baseball move.
"He couldn't care less about playing..." I'll add that to the list of inane El Supremo quotes.

(9,709 posts)Last time 3 Giants were elected to the All Star team was in 2001.. with Bonds, Kent and Aurilia.
Auggie
(31,188 posts)I'd be very happy if all the players on my teams had a little time off to rest physically and mentally. Plus, it makes no sense to risk injury to your best players in an almost meaningless exhibition game. I'd rather see them in the World Series.
Upton
(9,709 posts)so I'm happy for all the Giants who make it. Particularly for Buster, this is his first ASG..and when you consider where he was last year at this time..how could you not feel good for him?

(42,998 posts)and NOT a vote based on skill. Ruiz>>>>>>>>>>>>>Posey. I voted for Ruiz myself.
Auggie
(31,188 posts)Giants fans did stuff the ballot boxes. But until the vote is left to players and coaches (I'd allow retired players and coaches to vote too), there are going to be debatable results.
bluedigger
(17,087 posts)That's an awful lot of Rangers - I don't think they're that much better than the rest...
Then again, the Red Sox have also benefited from undue popularity, so I guess I'll just STFU.
I probably won't bother watching.

(42,998 posts)Making the back up roster he's come a long way from Ian DE6mond....
