Uhhh don't show up the umpire.

First pitch caught the corner for a strike. Second pitch clearly high.

When you take off for 1st base like Lawrie did--- you risk the ire of the Ump.

So the batter tried to draw a walk on the second pitch by pretending he got hit? I'm confused. It sounds like he got tossed for throwing his helmet at the ump.

So what really happened is that he threw his helmet in the dirt at the ump's feet, and it bounced up and hit him in the legs.
