'Shirley Sherrod on Andrew Breitbart: Death 'a Surprise'
http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/307697/20120301/shirley-sherrod-andrew-breitbart-death.htm
"The news of Mr. Breitbart's death came as a surprise to me when I was informed of it this morning," Sherrod said in a statement sent to International Business Times by her attorney, Thomas Clare. "My prayers go out to Mr. Breitbart's family as they cope during this very difficult time. I do not intend to make any further comments."
No screams of "f*ck him!" or "I'm glad he's dead!"
No smug smiles or restrained glee at the news of his death.
A simply "my prayers go out to his family" and that's it. This is a woman who lost her job and was DIRECTLY affected by the man's behavior when he was alive and somehow she is able to restrain herself. Total class, Shirley.
Related, we learn that her lawsuit against Breitbart will likely continue even after his death. http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2012/03/shirley-sherrods-suit-against-andrew-breitbart-likely-116078.html

(8,556 posts)The kinds of people who shout with glee when somebody dies are loud and visible, but actually fairly small in number. Most people have more class than that. The thing is, you don't hear from them as much, because by definition they aren't out there acting like fools and screaming 'look at me!'

I, on the other hand, am not a great woman. ^__^
