I still can't get over it. I probably never will.

The fact that the racist, misogynistic, sexual predator and piece of human garbage with strong dictatorial tendencies is succeeding our first Black President - a man who has more basic human decency in his goddamn pinkie fingernail than every white supremacist on Earth COMBINED - and specifically, the fact that he did so in large part by coming to prominence as a Far-Right hero via smearing our first Black President with sociopathically racist insinuations of illegitimacy and "Otherness" (and ironically, with the illegitimate and illegal support of a viciously hostile foreign power) is a fucking DISGRACE, the scandalous calamity of the century, a mockery of humanity that violates and undermines the core of every shred of faith in any goodness that might exist in our world.

Fuck. That. Shit. I can't possibly overstate this, any of it. FUCK. THAT. SHIT.

PS: This post is me in a good mood.

in my political life.

I was alive for the JFK assassination but not politically aware (5 years old.) That would have topped this but this stands out as singularly revolting.

Stark contrast In the history books between the darkness of the Bush years and the macabre weirdness of the twitler years.

it led me to believe that the elections were hacked in a way that we haven't been told. And maybe
no one (other than the hackers) has realized it really happened in the voting booths.
