that parents never taught their children how to lose. It used to drive me crazy that at 10 yrs old parents still weren't telling their kids the score. This is the product of that nonsense.

What you are witnessing is the youth of America expressing their belief that a democracy should work for them.
So far it hasn't. These are the youth that are facing an ever dismal future if our politics don't change.
This is democracy at its best.
I am proud of those committed to see change, committed to be involved, and committed to have their voices heard.

My son is a political "newbie". He is a college grad millennial. He worked his way through college. Upon graduation, he worked at any job he could get. Most at minimum wage, most without significant benefits. He finally got a union job with great benefits but his income will not afford him any opportunity to do anything but pay rent.

You should recognize not everyone is so fortunate to have all they need. This economy leaves a great deal to be desired. I understand you think everything is just rosy, but for so many it is not.
Thus the Sanders movement.

You don't have to agree with them, but you also don't have to belittle them.

To a time machine in 1964 - maybe to the Howard University campus.

Time is on their side. Nose to the grindstone. Do the hard work. Things change for the better with elbow grease.
